§ Latest updates
The PG Lab was awarded an ICMR grant for a multi-centric network on biobanking and geographic-stratified molecular profiling in pediatric solid tumors, with funding of approximately ₹7.9 crores - one of the largest extramural awards in the department's recent history.
A newly funded CSIR study is developing a point-of-care test for hypospadias risk assessment through gene expression profiling, whole exome sequencing, and hormonal assessment in patient-family trios from the North Indian population, funded at approximately ₹2.75 crores.
Prabudh completed his PhD in Pediatric Surgery at AIIMS New Delhi in 2025, with a thesis on the genomics of hypospadias - the culmination of a five-year research program combining exome sequencing, copy-number variant analysis, and epigenetic profiling.
